In the 109-‘s started selling portable sawmills. Hud-Son started out selling chainsaws and logging tools. Sawed it up to length and delivered it to the mill. We peeled as much wood as possible and while peeling season was on after that we would skid the wood out with horses. We gardened, had farm animals but the pulp wood was the main source of our income. We bought it principally for a place to live and the wood that was on the farm which was our primary income.
